Delivery time may take 24 – 72 business hours, depending on the destination it is being delivered to within South Africa. An extra surcharge fee will apply should you wish delivery to be on a Saturday, unfortunately no Sunday deliveries.
The courier company will collect your order by 14:00, Monday – Friday.
Deliveries from Monday to Friday from 08:00 till 17:00 only.
When ordering item(s) during any public holidays, please ensure the recipient is available at the address provided and not gone on holiday, as we cannot take responsibility for loss, damaged, expiring or perishing of the item(s).

We use PayFast as our online shopping cart portal. They are PCI-DSS level 1 compliant. They use Extended Validation SSL with 2048-bit encryption, which is one of the highest levels of encryption currently available. All sensitive info is encrypted within their own database. They run penetration testing on their system weekly to look for vulnerabilities. Their entire site are all served off secure servers, making it harder to perpetrate phishing attach’s. A 3D secure is in place for all credit card transactions. Now that was a mouthful!
Some of the leather items are made from 100% real leather. All these products are handmade and handcrafted locally. Due to the availability of leather it can sometimes take up to 10 business days to manufacture but trust me you will love these products and they are well worth the wait. Please take note that slight variations may be present in the colour of the leather although the supplier will always try to source and maintain the same dye-lots. The final product may also differ slightly from the photographs taken.
Should an item(s) arrive damaged, please pop us an email to info@giftgenie.co.za with photos of the damaged item(s) so we can investigate. Please lodge your query with us within 48 hours after parcel is received. We will then communicate with you directly to resolve the matter. Having said that, we take careful attention to ensure that all items chosen are carefully packaged and checked before being sent, however, accidents can happen. After 48 hours upon receiving the items/gift boxes we will consider the item(s) sold as final, satisfactory and complete.
Should any damages occur from incorrect usage or accidental, negligent or from normal wear and tear, unfortunately not refunds/returns will be granted.
